Founded in 2011 by Ronan Bertel and Nicolas Thery, INAGUA was born from a singular mission : to bridge the gap between IT robustness and business flexibility. We created DAMAaaS (Data Management as a Service)—a leading  Ai & NoCode Application Builder designed to help high-performance organizations turn complex data into streamlined business applications.

INAGUA is the software vendor behind DAMAaaS. Operating from our hubs in Paris and Lyon, our team has engineered a fully proprietary platform from the ground up, powered by battle-tested technologies.

A Decade of Innovation, Built to Last

In 2011, Ronan Bertel, then a project manager in a major corporation, couldn’t find a tool flexible enough to manage his complex projects. Alongside Nicolas Thery, they decided to stop searching and start building. They began coding a solution that put the power back into the hands of business users. DAMAaaS was born.

 

The Foundation : stability meets growth

  • 2012 : INAGUA is officially founded in the Greater Paris region, joined by Laurence Chapuis to lead Marketing and Communications.
  • 2015 : Franck Desnoues joins the adventure as a key partner, scaling our business development and expanding our market footprint.
  • Today : We’ve grown from a bold idea into a sovereign, battle-tested platform serving over 200,000 users.

 

15 Years of Loyalty : Our First Customer is still with us

While tech trends come and go, DAMAaaS stays. Our very first client, the industrial SME Lagarde Autoclaves, continues to run their core processes on our platform nearly 15 years later. This is the ultimate proof of our Pragmatism and Future-proof architecture.

What’s in a name?

We get asked about our name all the time. Since you’re here, let’s share the secret. Over the years, we’ve embraced three favorite meanings:

  • The Revelation : A nod to the “Road to Damascus.” It represents our turning point—breaking free from the constraints of legacy software to champion a pure, No-Code vision.
  • The Commitment : For our Spanish-speaking friends, it sounds like “Dame más” (Give me more). It perfectly reflects our drive to always deliver more value, more speed, and more flexibility.
  • The Spark : In our early, optimistic days, we were inspired by the intuitive breakthrough of Siri. We’ve always set our sights high and our name carries a bit of that « Apple-inspired » audacity. It’s a playful linguistic wink : just as Apple redefined the world with Siri, we created DAMAaaS (pronounced like Damas, the capital of Syria).It’s our way of mapping out our ambition—aiming for the same legendary success, intuitive impact, and market-defining innovation as the tech giants.
